Founder Notes
Welcome to the Naviask Blog

Why this exists
There is a lot of noise about AI for small business right now. Most of it is generic, written by people who have never actually run a small business, and aimed at getting you to click something.
This blog is the opposite of that. It is where I write down what I am learning about AI, small business workflows, and the gap between what the tools promise and what actually works in practice.
What you can expect here
Posts fall into a few categories:
- SMB AI Strategy: the higher-level thinking about where AI fits
- Implementation Guides: how to actually put specific tools to work
- SMB Trends & Research: data on what is happening in the small business AI space
- Case Studies: real examples of what has worked and what has not
- Founder Notes: posts like this one, written in my own voice about running Naviask
My take on AI for small business
The honest version is this: most small businesses do not need AI to survive. They need clarity about where their time is going, what is worth automating, and what is not. AI is a tool that can deliver enormous leverage when it is aimed at the right problem. Aimed at the wrong problem, it is an expensive distraction.
My job is to help owners figure out which one it is for them.
What is next
New posts will show up here regularly. Some will be short, some will be longer, all will be written in plain language with the goal of saving you time.
